Position Pro Search Engine Submission Services

The Spider

The backbone of Position Pro is our remarkable spider. The spider thoroughly crawls sites finding and indexing pages acceptable to the search engines (Position Pro can navigate sites most engine spiders can't or won't). Since page titles, meta descriptions and meta keywords are important factors in search engine listings, Position Pro finds these key components while spidering and indexes them so they may be viewed in report form later. These reports are invaluable for the analysis and optimization of your site.

Web site submission to the search engines

Our submission process is unmatched. The major search engines view automated but controlled submissions about the same as a hand submission. Over time and intelligently prioritizing your best content, we submit each page of the site in an orderly non-spam manner (respecting all engine submission guidelines). Position Pro, as part of the submission process, will wait for verification from the engine that the submission was accepted to record the verification into the system.

For the directories which do not accept automatic submission, we manually submit. In other words, you get the best of both worlds.

Follow-up

Changes in search engines or a page getting dropped from a search engine can adversely affect your site's visibility. Position Pro monitors for these conditions in several ways. On a bi-weekly basis, (every two weeks), Position Pro runs a report showing the number of pages present in the major search engines. This report is then compared with previous reports for trend analysis. On a bi-weekly basis Position Pro also checks the rankings for the site's top keywords. These results are posted in two formats, a detailed display, and a historic display. The historical display is meant for trend analysis disclosing how changes in the engines is affecting your visibility. Adverse trends from either report may indicate the need for corrective action.

*Search engine submission rules and search engine affiliations are constantly changing. We make every effort to stay abreast of these changes and will alter our submission processes as necessary.
